Pawlenty for Prez Watch

Gov. Pawlenty spoke at a Memorial Day event at Fort Snelling (along with Klobuchar).

Pawlenty also appeared on a local recording of NBC's Meet the Press last week. He ripped President Obama's response to the oil spill. He also said he would have let AIG fail. The bailout of the largest insurance company was seen as one of the efforts that stopped the dramatic freefall of the markets in 2008.

Public Policy Polling didn't survey Pawlenty in 2012 hypotheticals Iowa, Michigan and South Carolina. The poll shows it's an open race.
