Democrats and like-minded special interest groups are pulling out all of the stops to get people to the Target Center for President Obama's speech. They're lighting up Facebook, Twitter, phone banking and e-mail to increase turnout.

The speech comes just days after the U.S. Census Bureau said 444,000 Minnesotans don't have health insurance.

Meanwhile, Gov. Pawlenty suggested that he might assert state sovereignty to keep Minnesota from fully participating in a health care plan that could be passed by Congress and signed by President Obama. Pawlenty made his comments on a conference call with supporters of the Republican Governor's Association. You can listen to the caller question and Pawlenty's full answer here.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin also suggested state's rights as an option. The political blog, GOP12, says Pawlenty is making a push for the 10th Amendment supporters in a possible White House run.
