Pawlenty, Romney will attend a Michigan GOP conference
Add Michigan to Governor Tim Pawlenty's political travel schedule.
GOP officials in Michigan say Pawlenty will attend the Mackinac Republican Leadership Conference on Mackinac Island, Sept. 25-27. An AP report describes the biennial gathering as a tuneup for potential 2012 candidates, as well as Republicans running in 2010 statewide races. Mitt Romney, a GOP candidate for president in 2008, will also attend.
