White House advisor Karl Rove and Gov. Pawlenty address the delegates today.

Pawlenty just told the delegates he's proud to be hold the record for most vetoes in a session. He told reporters before his speech that he wasn't sure if McCain was considering him as a possible VP choice.

The Republican Party endorsed GOP Sen. Norm Coleman for a second term on Friday. MPR, the Pi Press, the Star Tribune and AP have stories.

KAAL handicaps the GOP primary in Minnesota's 1st District.

Yesterday, I reported that MDE reported that 6th District DFLer was late in paying property taxes. The DCCC released a statement saying GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann was late in paying her property taxes:

"While spending so much time trying to defend President Bush's failed agenda, Republicans neglected to do their homework on their own candidate's poor tax filing record," said Carrie James, regional press secretary at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. "Instead of paying her property taxes on time, Michele Bachmann is too busy following around President Bush and introducing the Light Bulb Freedom of Choice Act."

A Princeton man pitched a tent outside the Capitol to protest Gov. Pawlenty's veto of a foreclosure deferment bill.

Four southeast Minnesota counties have pulled the plug on a plan to buy affordable health care for low income residents.
